Sunday 3rd August 2014 8pm at Kelvingrove Bandstand and Amphitheatre
Leading us into the screening of the official Closing Ceremony, the stunning McOpera Ensemble perform a fitting finale to the Bandstand’s Commonwealth Games programme. With a nod to the marking of the centenary of WW1 the next day, the programme will include compositions by composers from that time, such as Edward Elgar and Frank Bridge.
