Mussorgsky’s ‘Pictures from an Exhibition’ as the central piece in a concert devoted to the rich sound world of McOpera Brass in collaboration with The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland Brass & Percussion Departments. An evening of contrasts that will have something for everyone to enjoy and which will form part of a new McOpera collaboration with the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. This event will also involve workshops and tutoring for the local brass players of Aberdeenshire as part of our ongoing outreach programme. We are delighted to announce that Nigel Boddice MBE will direct the evening performances.
