Internationally acclaimed violinist and conductor Tobias Ringborg joined us for an all Schubert programme.
The concerts took place at 1pm on 12th June in St. Machar’s Cathedral Aberdeen, and 7pm 14th June St. Andrew’s in the Square Glasgow.
McOpera are in discussion with a prominent Scottish based composer and author with a view to commissioning a new opera which we plan to premier in June 2017. We have a target of £45,000 to breath life into this exciting commission and our first fundraising event was this Glasgow performance of our collaboration with Tobias.
At 6.15pm before the Glasgow performance, Tobias also gave a free pre-concert talk.
